Is it permissible to visit a Muslim home where the following activities take place: Birthday celebrations, candlelighting, birthday cake, a happy birt

Question

Is it permissible to visit a Muslim home where the following activities take place: Birthday celebrations, candlelighting, birthday cake, a happy birthday to you song is sung, presents given and opened for display, balloons tied all over the house, colourful ribbons throughout the house, photographs taken, and the general partying. Can one visit this home at a time when these activities are not taking place?

Answer

It is not permissible to visit such a shaitaani home whilst the activities listed by you are taking place. Whilst the inmates may have been born Muslims, their entire conception of life is western kufr. To visit this home at a time when the acts of kufr are not taking place will be permissible only for a valid reason. A social call should not be made.
