When the Imaam makes Salaam from the mimbar, should the musallis respond according to the Maaliki Math-hab?
Answer
It is Makrooh (not permissible) for the Imaam to say Salaam from the mimbar. However, when he arrives and makes Salaam (not on the mimbar), then people should silently respond.
