Question
Some people perform Tahyatul Musjid even whilst the Khutbah is being recited. Does any Math-hab allow this?
Answer
According to the Maaliki and Hanafi Math-hab, it is not permissible to perform Tahyatul Musjid when the Imaam has already mounted the Mimbar. According to the Shaafi' and Hambali Math-habs, two very short raka'ts should still be performed.
