The company where I am employed allows a certain maximum amount to an employee for transportation in the event he has to relocate to another place of residence. I have moved residence. The transport cost is substantially less than the amount allowed by the company. Is it permissible to claim the full amount?
Answer
Since the company allows you to claim only the actual amount which covers the transport cost, it will not be permissible to claim the extra sum.
