I was told that Muslims living in the northern part of China used to mix wine in their cooking and drinking due to the extreme cold climate, and to make them warm. What is the Shariah's ruling?
Answer
It is haraam to mix wine in food and in any drink. There are many places as cold and colder than northern China where Muslims do not use wine. Wine is haraam and so it will always remain.
