I have given up music and have repented.

Question

I have given up music and have repented. What can I do with my piano? Am I allowed to sell it to a non-Muslim? It is a very expensive item.

Answer

The world with all its wealth is not equal to the value of even one Subhaanallaah Tasbeeh. In fact, it comes in the Hadith that everything between the heavens and the earth put together is not the equivalent of a Tasbeeh. The monetary value should not deter you from observing the Shariah.

The determinant is the ruling of the Shariah. A piano is haraam. Music is haraam. The only option regarding the piano is to break it and dump it. It may not be sold to even non-Muslims. This is a test for one's Imaan.
