Question

The Hanafi Muslims in the prison in the State of Tennesse, who follow the Mujlisul Ulama of S.A., separate themselves from the rest of the Muslim community in this prison. They do not join us in Ta'leem nor in Ramadhaan. Is this the teaching of the Musjlisul Ulama?

Answer

Why do the Hanafi Muslims separate themselves from the rest of the group of Muslims in the prison? Before we can comment, it is necessary that we be apprized of their reasons for their action. Please ask some of them to write to us explaining the motive for their stance. We shall then comment and advise, Insha-Allah.
