Question
A man had an illicit relationship with a woman. When she was three months pregnant, he married her. What is the status of the child? Will this child inherit in his estate?
Answer
As long as the child is born after expiry of six months from date of the Nikah, he/she will be legitimate and inherit in the father's estate.
