If the Qur'aan Shareef falls accidentally from one's hands, is it Sunnat to kiss it after picking it up?

It is not Sunnah to kiss the

Qur'aan Majeed. We do so out of love. We could term it a Mustahab in view of the fact that Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) would kiss the Qur'aan Shareef, and even place it against his head, etc. If one drops the Qur'aan Shareef or a Kitaab accidently, the spontaneous reaction is to kiss it and hold it tightly to one's breast although this is not Sunnat. It is the Muslim's love for the Qur'aan which prompts this spontaneous action.
