Is it permissible for a butcher or grocer to weigh a product and include the weight of the polystyrene tray, etc. in the weight of the item?
Answer
It is not permissible for the seller to include the weight of the wrapper/ tray, etc. in the weight of the product. He should charge separately for the tray, etc. or include it in his price, not in the weight.
