Question
A born Muslim who engages in halqah thikr in the Musjid can't recite the Qur'aan Shareef. He will be going for Hajj this year. I read out a Hadith from your kitaab regarding halqah thikr. This person got up, shouted some bad words to criticize the Hadith. What is his position in the Shariah?
Answer
The jaahil who abused the Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has lost his Imaan. He should renew his Imaan and also his Nikah if he has a wife. His kufr reaction is the effect of ghulu' which the halqah thikr bid'atis practise.
