What is the Deeni significance of the Saudi long jubbah which some of our Ulama also wear?

There is no significance in the Saudi style jubbah. It is lamentable that our Ulama have become enamoured by the fussaaq Saudi rulers. They adopt another style because of an inferior complex. It indicates lack of firmness.
