I have a large tent. I have been asked to lend the tent for a function where some un-Islamic activities will take place.

Question

I have a large tent. I have been asked to lend the tent for a function where some un-Islamic activities will take place. Is it permissible to lend the tent to keep good ties?

Answer

It is haraam for you to lend the tent for any haraam purpose. By lending the tent for the function you will be loaded with all the sins committed therein. It is not permissible to lend the tent to them regardless of ties being severed. Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'aan majeed: "Do not aid on sin and transgression."
