Some Ulama say that since T-shirts and jeans have become common and general, it is permissible to wear. It is no longer a dress exclusive with non-Muslims, and the aurah is covered.
Answer
It is not permissible to wear T-shirts and jeans regardless of it having become general. In addition to tashabbuh bil kuffaar this type of dress is lewd. If wearing female clothes becomes general among men, it will still remain haraam even if the clothes are that of Muslim women. It is not sufficient for the aurah to be covered. Women's abayas fully cover the aurah. But it is haraam for men to wear abayas even if we assume that it has become general.
