These Madrasah students are bluffing themselves. They labour in self-deception with their false argument of 'sunnah zulfah'. Long hair for students is not permissible, hence the original rule of all our Madaaris in India was to shave off all the hair of students. They keep long hair for riya and to impress females, hence they should not be allowed to keep such hair. If an adult keeps proper zulfah with the intention of Sunnah, it is permissible.
