There is no longer a need to even argue this simple prohibition in terms of alcohol content. The destruction to health has been overwhelmingly and conclusively established. Coke and all soft drinks cause numerous diseases, hence there is no longer the need for even the alcohol factor for declaring its prohibition. The element of Dharar suffices for its hurmat. In fact Coke's prohibition is more emphasized than the prohibition of eating taahir (clean) sand. Dharar (Harm) is a valid element of prohibition.
