Some Muftis say that prawns are halaal.
Answer
Those who contend that prawn/ shrimps are fish fail to apply their minds. They have absolutely no Shar'i daleel for the ludicrous view of prawns being fish. According to the Hanafi Math-hab prawns are Haraam. And Allah knows best.
