What is the status in Islam of university level education?

Whilst secular education is permissible, the environment in universities and colleges is decidedly immoral and kufr. It is therefore not permissible for Muslims to attend the present-day universities of kufr, fisq and fujoor. Universities, while haraam for even Muslim males, are exceptionally vile and prohibited to a greater degree for Muslim females. It is infinitely superior and meritorious to cut grass for a living than to attend university for the acquisition of expertise to earn a living.
