I used to frequently consume Lucozade as SANHA maintains that it is halaal. However, I have now learnt that it contains ethanol like coke and pepsi. What is the Shariah's view in this regard?
Answer
The Shariah's view is that Lucozade is Haraam just as all other soft drinks are haraam. As far as SANHA is concerned, its pronouncements are haraam rubbish. A mercenary clique cannot be trusted with matters pertaining to halaal and haraam in the same way as kuffaar are not to be trusted in this respect. They all are birds of a feather.
