Question
New carpets were fitted in our Musjid. Is it permissible to give the old carpets to a Musjid or Musalla in need?
Answer
The old Musjid carpets must be sold and the money used for the Musjid. If another Musjid or Jamaat Khaanah, etc. needs the carpets, some brothers should purchase it cheaply from the Musjid and donate it to the venue where it is needed.
