In the U.K. the Ulama do not admonish the community for any evil and haraam committed. There is total silence. Please comment.
Answer
The silence of the Ulama when they observe un-Islamic practices in the community is a major cause for the prevalence of so much bid'ah and evil in the community. About such silent scholars, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"The one who maintains silence in a matter of the Haqq is a dumb shaitaan."
