Question
Some people perform the Fardh Salaat in the khaanqah instead of going to the nearby Musjid. Is it proper for a Shaikh to perform Jamaat Salaat with his mureeds in his khaanqah when there is a nearby Musjid?
Answer
It is improper. It is Waajib to perform the Fardh Salaat in the nearby Musjid. A khaanqah is not a Musjid.
