Salafis are deviated morons. There are two kinds of ta'weez – permissible and impermissible just as there are two kinds of food, and two kinds of everything – halaal and haraam. A Ta'weez in which is written only Qur'aanic verses or the Names of Allah Ta'ala is perfectly permissible. Even the Sahaabah, and even Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) had resorted to Ta'weez. A ta'weez in which is written any kufr or shirk is obviously haraam.
