Is it permissible to purchase fish from a market which also sells crabs, crayfish and other kinds of sea-animals? Will there not be cross-contamination?
Answer
It is permissible to purchase fish from a market which also sells other kinds of sea animals. All sea animals despite being haraam for Hanafis, are taahir (paak/clean). Thus there is no contamination.
