When performing Janaazah Salaat outside, people remove their shoes and stand on them when performing Salaat.

It is meaningless to stand on the shoes if these are impure. If clean, then too it is meaningless to remove the shoes when Janaazah Salaat is performed outside. If the shoes are taahir/paak/clean and Janaazah Salaat is being performed outside, then there is no need to remove them. If impure, then it will not be permissible to stand on the shoes. The Salaat will then not be valid.
